Hi. I have just recently downloaded some episodes of my favorite television shows off of the internet. They are currently in .avi format and I’m wondering if I transfer this to a jump drive (I have a USB port in my television at home) if the episode needs to be converted to a different format in order to be viewable on my television? I have a media converter software, I’m just not sure what kind of format it needs to be in…. .wma? ANy help would be great! Thanks!

My television is currently attached to a converter (with the switchover back in June) and I have a nice antenna too. When I turn on the television, the picture is crystal clear. Within twenty minutes the snow begins and it gets worse and worse. I cut the television off for about 30 seconds; turn it back on and it is, again, crystal clear. Within twenty minutes, the snow comes back. Last night, it took two minutes to turn to snow instead of twenty. What’s up with this? The television in the living room has exactly the same set-up and does not do this.
