I have a Magnovox television. Last week, I lifted it up to move it and since then it keeps scrolling through a message saying “this will be your next television…” and then it runs through all the functions it has. Pushing buttons on the tv does not change anything. It just keeps scrolling – even after I unplugged it for a day, when I plugged it in again, it kept scrolling. I do not have the original television remote. Is the tv fixable?

D Braithwaite asked: I have a Sense 32″ flatscreen ‘HD-ready’ television and a Virgin Media V+ box connected to the TV using an HDMI cable, but the volume and mute button on my Virgin Media remote don’t (of course) work with my TV.
Apparently I need a 4-digit remote code to associate the Virgin Media remote with my TV, but I can’t find it. A text to the 63336 information service gave me a code of 0699, but it’s not accepted by the remote as valid.
Can anyone help me resolve this dilema?

If you are aware of which major company provides the cheapest television service please enlighten me. Direct TV, Dish Network, FIOS, etc, which is the cheapest per channel?
I do NOT care about the promotional price, I want the actual monthly price, and I’m talking about the per-channel price. Who provides the cheapest service for the basic channels, the premium channels, and all of the channels?
