If the television was never created and popularized in American’s homes, would segregation still exist?

The 1950s became a time where t.v. was a common attribute to the homes of Americans. With it, citizens were able to see the violent acts responses to the non-violent sit-ins, freedom rides, and marches that the black community (and white supporters) participated in. Racism entered families homes every night and compelled them to vote on laws that would remove segregation and hopefully reduce racism. Without the television, would blacks today still be forced to the back of the bus?

Why do Americans react so strong when it comes to ****** on television?

Think things like ****** gate and the new miss California controversy.

And in movies for instance. They can kill numerous people on screen during prime time,… but let’s not show anything ****… think about our kids (and lame excuses like that).

Showing violence is worse in my book.

I mean. If my son sees somebody **** on television it’s not a problem. That’s nature. Why so shy about something like that.
