David asked:

I woke up today to find that on the back of television, the metal port sticking out to receive the cable wire had snapped off at its base with the cable wire still attached to it.

Besides having a professional work on it, does anybody have any ideas on how I can secure it? I have duct tape supporting it the best I can, I was just thinking there was a quick easy fix to secure it better.

thanks for your help!

How to replace a lamp in a television?

Robin L asked:

I have a Toshiba 72 inch DLP television where today I heard a pop and the screen went blank but the sound was still going. I am trying to see if the lamp is blown,as I know this brand and model have trouble with lamps, and have misplaced my manual. I have the door opened but can not get it out, I was hoping anyone knew how to get it out before I have to pay someone 50 dollars to do it for me. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.
Well, for the rude person who answered second. I do not have internet service, I have a phone that I get on yahoo answers with that does not have the capacity to download an owners manual and Toshiba could not help me as all there was at the time to answer was a sales person. Get a life and quit making rude *** comments on something you know nothing about.
